Before becoming an independent celebrant, Liz worked in a register office as a deputy superintendent registrar, conducting weddings and other ceremonies. Her other roles have all been very person orientated, and include nursing people with learning disabilities and working with local families through the children’s centres and libraries.  She also runs a successful complementary therapy business.
